DIET SHEETS
Our Wheat Free and Cow Free Diet Sheets There is now a great deal of information in the press and on the television about healthy eating and they often suggest that wheat or dairy products should be avoided. But when you start to think about this statement you begin to realise that this may not be as easy as it first sounds as most foods on our supermarket shelves contain these two products. To help you to achieve this aim, we have provided, free of charge, a Wheat Free Diet Sheet and a Cow Free Diet Sheet for you. These sheets not only tell you which foods you should avoid, but also more helpfully, give some ideas of what you can replace them with. Food and drink manufacturers have a nasty habit of calling the same product by different names, so we've additionally supplied alternative names for wheat and dairy on the ingredients lists. These sheets are not exhaustive and should be used as guides only. If you are trying to ascertain whether either of these two items are a problem for you, you should try to avoid either wheat or dairy for 2-3 weeks. This should be enough time to give you an indication if this is the case. It is important to replace foods eliminated from the diet with the suggested alternatives to ensure that your diet does not become deficient in a vital nutrient. These sheets are intended to provide you with some ideas of how to avoid wheat or dairy products only. They are not intended as a sole means of treatment for illness or ill-health and therefore, it is strongly advised that you consult a nutritional therapist or read Dr Anderson's booklet on the subject if you intend to avoid them for any length of time.
Details about Our Other Diet Sheets The above statement also applies if you want to use diet to help alleviate a particular health problem. Or you can obtain diet sheets tailored to your own needs, taking into account all your health issues - details of these can be found on our Help On Line page.
